Heavy rainfall stretched across North Miami Beach, Opa-locka and Miami Gardens, leaving rainfall of up to 2 inches falling in some areas, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.
An urban flood advisory was issued Saturday for northeastern Miami-Dade County, but expired at 3 p.m.
The rain caused ponding of water in highways, streets and underpasses as well as other areas with poor drainage, along with elevated water levels in canals and ditches.
Highs were in the low to mid-80s with lows in the mid-70s.
There was a moderate risk of rip currents in area beaches with a moderate chop on the bay. Small crafts were urged to use caution.
Conditions were expected to be breezy throughout the week. A cool front will bring some milder temperatures Sunday that will last through Monday, bringing highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 70s.
Expect cooler temperatures again for Thanksgiving, with highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 60s.
