Weather Forecast: Humid Friday With Chance for Storms

Sunny skies after early morning showers, urban flood advisory

After some early morning showers and storms across Miami-Dade County, sunny skies are dominating the morning Friday. More clouds will build this afternoon as the humidity continues to ramp up.

A urban flood advisory that had been in effect for Miami and Miami Beach early Friday was cancelled.

While it’s a mainly dry forecast that will hold through the weekend, there is a chance for inland storms each afternoon. Otherwise, high temps will still climb into the middle and upper 80s while overnight lows will return to the mid-70s in the nights ahead.

Our run of cooler, drier weather is over and the weather pattern is returning to conditions more suitable for mid-May. The next chance for storms will come Monday.

Friday will be partly cloudy and more humid, with highs around 87. It'll be mostly clear and warmer tonight, with temps going to 75.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and dry with highs against reaching 87. It'll stay partly sunny Sunday with lows around 76 and highs around 87.

Monday will be partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs near 88.
