There may be a lull in the shower activity midday, but the rain will return late afternoon through the overnight hours. It will be mild and muggy with highs around 80 degrees.
Showers will diminish early Saturday with the passage of a cold front. Though a few showers are possible early Saturday, conditions will continuously improve.
A cooler and drier air mass will settle over South Florida by Saturday afternoon, bringing highs in the mid 70s with increasing sun.
Sunday will be beautiful with morning lows around sunrise close to 50 degrees. The warm up will carry thermometers into the upper 60s in the afternoon with abundant sunshine. Winds will increase up to 20 mph and some stronger gusts.
