Congress' Action To End FAA Furloughs an Important Move, Former Air Force Controller Says

A total of 1,500 fewer air traffic controllers in towers across the country resulted in 3,500 flight delays since Sunday. But the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Reducing Flight Delays Act of 2013 on Friday, so now the FAA's air traffic controllers won't be forced to take an unpaid day off every other week. Congressman Bill Shuster of Pennsylvania, former Air Force controller Sherrin Burks and frequent flyer Ken Klade spoke about the furloughs issue.
