Briana Nespral is an NBC6 reporter who joined the station in February 2025. The Miami native sees her return to the station as a homecoming because she interned at NBC6 in the summer of 2018.
Nespral joined NBC6 from WPTV in West Palm Beach where she worked for three years as a morning news reporter covering Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Prior to her time in West Palm Beach, Nespral worked as a reporter at WGFL in Gainesville, Florida for two years.
During her career, Nespral has covered the pandemic, multiple hurricanes and the 2020 and 2024 presidential elections.
She grew up in South Florida and received her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.
Nespral attributes her Aunt Jackie as the best mentor and role model, saying she played an instrumental role in her decision to pursue a career in journalism.
Nespral says her favorite part of being a journalist is reporting in, and telling the stories of, the community she grew up in. She is thrilled to be able to do what she loves here at home.
When she’s not working Nespral enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking (especially Cuban food), cheering on her beloved Miami Hurricanes (she says she bleeds orange and green), and playing with her dog Bentley.
