Fran Drescher Talks ‘The Nanny', Surviving Cancer

Fran Drescher, most remembered for her starring role in the TV sitcom “The Nanny,” is also a survivor of uterine cancer and the featured speaker at the Memorial Cancer Institute’s Wellness and Empowerment Forum. She sat down with Jen and shared her humorous and poignant story of turning pain into purpose and the impact she’s been able to have through Cancer Schmancer, a nonprofit organization she founded that works to ensure that women’s cancers are diagnosed early, when they are most curable. The event at Signature Grand is hosted by the Pink Angels of the Memorial Foundation and there is no charge to attend, although reservations are required.
