1 Person Trapped in Garage Collapse at Miami Dade College's West Campus

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Capt. Louie Fernandez said Wednesday afternoon that rescue workers are doing the best they can to keep the trapped person alive and extricate him from debris. About 96 rescue units and 300 fire rescue personnel are on the scene to deal with what Fernandez called a “pancake-style collapse.”
