2 Suspects Being Held on Several Charges After Police Chase That Ended in Miami Gardens

Marquell Shellman and Willie Williams were being held Wednesday on several charges, including fleeing and eluding police and grand theft, after a chase that ended in Miami Gardens the day before, authorities said. A police pursuit that started in Collier County went through Broward before winding up in Miami Gardens, where two of the three suspects were taken into custody after they ditched the vehicle they were in and made a run for it. Shellman faces an additional charge of battery on a police dog, according to authorities. Police are still looking for the third suspect, who has not been identified.
