“They Shot at My Son Like a Dog,” Says Mother of Man Shot by Police Near Marlins Park

Emmanuel Reyes, 34, remained in serious condition Thursday after he was injured in a police-involved shooting near Marlins Park the night before, Miami Police said. Police spokeswoman Officer Kenia Reyes spoke about the case, as did the mother of Emmanuel Reyes, Barbara Alvarez, and Gabriela Baltodano, who heard the shots.
