Broward Commission Doesn't Approve Tax Increase To Consolidate 911 System

Police chiefs and firefighters told the Broward County Commission to fix Broward’s fragmented 911 system, but commissioners decided not to move ahead with a tax increase to consolidate it. Sunrise Mayor Mike Ryan, Tina Ratcliff, and Broward Mayor Kristin Jacobs spoke about the issue.
