Cold Start to Art Deco Weekend on Miami Beach

There was lots of room to walk around along Ocean Drive on the first night of Art Deco Weekend Friday. There were small crowds on what was a cold winter’s night for South Florida. But Art Deco vendor Hubert Wewer was savoring the cold snap – and embracing the rare chance to make a winter fashion statement. “This gives everybody the opportunity to wear their winter jackets that we never get to wear all year,” he said.
