Collapsed Garage Quickly Became “Just a Big Smoke Cloud”: Witness

Chris Morel said he was a loss for words and Edgar Perez said it sounded like a demolition. They and other bystanders reported what they witnessed as a section of a parking garage collapsed at Miami Dade College’s west campus Wednesday. Students Luis Arvelo and Jose Sequiera spoke about their evacuation, and store manager Carlos Moreno said that before he knew it, the garage was “just a big smoke cloud.”
