Deerfield Beach Teacher Says She Didn't Contribute to Student's Sexual Orientation

Juliet Hibbs was investigated by the Broward County Public Schools for inappropriate misconduct. The report stated that a parent was concerned that Hibbs possibly contributed to her daughter’s homosexuality. She said the charge is not true. “Of course not, you can’t turn anyone gay,” she said. The case was closed with no further action from the district, but Hibbs claimed that the school’s principal is bullying her. A school board representative said that on at least two occasions they tried to have a sit-down meeting with Hibbs, but the meetings were cancelled.
