Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Charles Swindle Going Back to Work After Being Fired for Giving Lawmaker $10 Speeding Ticket

Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Charles Swindle is returning to work six months after he was fired – but his fight is not over, his attorney Sid Matthew said. Swindle lost his job after he gave a state lawmaker a $10 speeding ticket instead of a $250 ticket and the legislator complained. But the trooper fought back, and an appeals panel said his firing was too harsh. Swindle spoke about his upcoming return to work, while the FHP released a statement.
