Hialeah Police Sergeant Facing Drug Possession Charges Released on Bond

A Hialeah Police sergeant who was arrested on drug possession charges is free after posting bond Sunday. Sgt. Tomas Munoz remains in “at home” status and has been suspended of all police duties and authority following his arrest Saturday, Hialeah Police spokesman Carl Zogby said Monday. During his bond court appearance Sunday, Munoz briefly pleaded his case to Judge Maria de Jesus Santovenia.
