In Fort Lauderdale, Worries Over Coming Closure of Sunset Learning Center

The Sunset Learning Center recently got a new outdoor gym, iPads and computers. But now parents and special needs students at the Fort Lauderdale school are facing its closure later this year. Eighth-grader Justin Laun, grandparent Shannon Jones and parent Denise Richards spoke about the school. Broward County school district spokeswoman Tracy Clark addressed the planned closing of Sunset and the Wingate Oaks Educational Center in a statement.
