Deputy Injured, Suspect Shot and Killed in Incident on I-95: Authorities

A serial bank robber was shot and killed by deputies after they forced him to stop his getaway car along Interstate 95 in Broward County Friday morning, authorities said. The Broward Sheriff’s Office later identified the suspect as Michael Webb, 56, of Deerfield Beach. One of his neighbors, Jack Errante, told NBC 6 South Florida that he occasionally waved at the man, but called him a “hermit.”
