Miami-Dade Superintendent Speaks About Seven Shootings Within Week

A drive-by shooting Monday morning capped a weekend of gun violence in the city of Miami. Miami-Dade Superintendent of Schools Alberto Carvalho visited the student shot Monday. “This last week has proven to be one of the bloodiest weeks in our community for children,” Carvalho said, with seven shootings since last Wednesday.
