Obama Eats Fries, Talks Education With Miami Students

President Obama shared some French fries with three first-time voters during a visit to OMG! Burgers in South Miami on Thursday. “All right, dive in, guys,” the president said, doing so himself. “Those are good fries.” He spoke about education with Barry University junior Leslie Redmond, 20, and University of Miami students Emily Young, 20, also a junior, and Maximo Soler, 20, a senior. Soler and Young said tuition at UM is $44,000. Obama said that most of the financial aid he received as an undergraduate was grants – and said the ratio of loans to grants is much higher for the current generation of students.
