A day after he was brutally beaten at his Opa-locka car repair shop, 76-year-old Armando Hernandez was clinging to life Friday at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, his nephew Jorge Hernandez said. “It’s an hour by hour thing, so we don’t know what the next hour brings to us,” Jorge Hernandez said of his uncle, who remained in critical condition.
