Opening Statements in Professor Murder Trial

“Everything in this case comes down to one thing: absolute horror story,” prosecutor Tom Coleman said in court Monday as opening statements were given in the first-degree murder trial of Randy Tundidor Sr., 45. He is also charged with robbery, kidnapping and arson in the April 2010 killing of Dr. Joseph Morrissey. His attorney blamed Tundidor’s son, who has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death as part of a plea deal.
