Reynaldo Velasquez “Meant Everything To Us,” Daughter Says

Members of the Velasquez family asked for the public’s help Wednesday as they and police seek information in the Oct. 19 shooting of Reynaldo Velasquez, 54. He died 10 days later. Police said he was killed for a gold chain he was wearing. His widow Johanna Velasquez and children Luis and Jazmin Velasquez spoke about him, with the daughter saying, “He meant everything to us.” Miami-Dade Police spokeswoman Aida Fina-Milian discussed the case.
