School Year Gets Underway in Broward, Miami-Dade

Local school superintendents Robert Runcie and Alberto Carvalho were up early as the 2013-2014 academic year began. Runcie discussed having more drivers for Broward’s school buses this year. Mother Marisol Perez gave some advice, Carvalho pitched his district’s new programs in Miami-Dade, and students Andre Castillo and Lindon Kastel gave positive reviews for the first day.
