South Florida Girl Organizes Letters to Soldiers

With her angelic voice, 11-year-old singer/song writer Savannah Maddison is rallying up more than 400 students at Gulliver Academy to write letters supporting U.S Troops stationed in Afghanistan. The effort is part of Savannah’s Soldiers, an organization she started after her best friend’s father was deployed more than one year ago. The organization is supported by military rep. Jannette Chandler, who says the kids’ supportive words make a difference.
