South Florida Woman Shot 5 Times by U.S. Marshals Sues Them for $10 Million

Janira Calderin says she was shot five times by U.S. Marshals as they sought to arrest her ex-boyfriend Samir Herrera at his Boynton Beach home in August 2011. Calderin’s attorney, Ron Guralnick, said the marshals had no plan. The agency said it had “no comment.”
