Survivors of D.C. Navy Yard Shooting Recount Running for Safety
A gunman killed 12 people and injured eight inside a heavily secured building at the Washington, D.C., Navy Yard Monday, authorities said. Suspected gunman Aaron Alexis, 34, was also killed. Sherry Wassen said she scaled a wall to get away, while Sean Carrol said he took refuge with two women behind a desk before he ran across the building and heard multiple shots.
