Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run West Perrine Crash Admitted to Driving Vehicle Involved in Phone Calls to Georgia Jail: Police

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Rodney Smith ordered Derrick Brown, 38, held on no bond Monday after police said they arrested him on numerous charges in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in West Perrine. Miami-Dade Police spokesman Det. Alvaro Zabaleta discussed the crash last week.
