Tony Tops Israel in Broward Sheriff Primary

Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony has beaten out the man he replaced in Tuesday’s Democratic primary for the county’s top cop position. Tony claimed victory over former sheriff Scott Israel in the primary, which also featured four lesser-known, lesser-financed candidates.
