Woman Killed in Cabana Crash Identified

Police have identified the pregnant woman who was killed when a car veered off a road and into a hotel pool cabana at a Fort Lauderdale hotel Sunday. Alanna Demella, 26, from Medford, Mass., was inside the cabana at the Riverside Hotel on East Las Olas Boulevard with her husband, 31-year-old Michael Demella when she was struck around 1:30 p.m., Fort Lauderdale Police said.
