Zoo Miami's Ron Magill Recounts Hurricane Andrew

Zoo Miami’s spokesman Ron Magill relived Hurricane Andrew with NBC 6 South Florida Wednesday. The wildlife expert said he didn’t see any native birds at the zoo the day the storm hit, but did observe a troop of monkeys, not from the zoo, roaming the street during the aftermath. Magill said the area became “unrecognizable” and called the experience a “haunting day.”
