White House Urges Vigilance as Texas, Mississippi Poised to Lift Mask Mandates

After Texas and Mississippi announced they are lifting mask mandates this week, White House press secretary Jen Psaki implored Americans to stay vigilant and continue wearing face masks, saying, “We’re not asking people just to listen to the president. Of course we recommend that, but we’re asking people to listen to health experts, medical experts, the CDC, Dr. Fauci, to others who are basing their recommendations on saving people’s lives.”
