4 Taken Into Custody After Burglary: Miami-Dade Police

A neighbor saw "two guys with gloves and ski masks jump over the gate"

Four young men were arrested for burglarizing a Miami home.

Four young men were taken into custody after a burglary Tuesday morning at 875 NE 205th Terrace, Miami-Dade Police said.

Neighbor Tony Hyppolite said he saw two kids come over the back fence from the house that got robbed and called police.

“I was getting ready for work this morning. I looked out of my window, and I seen two guys with gloves and ski masks jump over the gate, and that’s when I dialed 911 and the police came,” he said.

Police surrounded the house the suspects returned to, at 832 NE 206th Street, and made the four guys lie face-down on the ground after they came outside, aerial footage showed.

“My house was broken into a couple of years ago, and that really pissed me off, and I’m making sure it did not happen to anyone else,” Hyppolite said.

He said if other people did the same thing when they saw a crime happening, “it would be a great thing. Solve a lot of crime, yeah.”
