A man and a woman are dead after they were found with gunshot wounds outside a Lauderdale Lakes home in what appears to be the aftermath of a murder-suicide.
Around 2:30 p.m., Broward Sheriff's deputies responded to calls of gunfire at 4541 N.W. 32nd Court. When they arrived, they found the two lifeless bodies in the car port area of the house, with the woman's body sitting on a bench and the man laying on the floor beneath her.
Three other people were at the house at the time of the shooting. A friend of the female victim said the woman had just moved to South Florida from Philadelphia after she broke up with the man.
BSO is classifying it a murder suicide, but the investigation is ongoing.
