Police are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death in Fort Lauderdale.
The stabbing happened around 6 a.m. Sunday morning in the 200 block of Northwest 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale Police said.
Police had received a report of a physical altercation at the location and when officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Sarah Yates with life-threatening stab wounds.
Yates was taken to Broward Health Medical Center where she later died of her injuries.
