A Push for More Wildflowers Along South Florida Highways

NBC 6 photojournalist Joe Harzinski spoke with Paul Wai of the Florida Department of Transportation Operations about the push to plant more wildflowers alongside Florida’s highways. The wildflowers are mostly in Central Florida at the moment, but there is one patch in Miami-Dade off of the Red Road exit on the southbound Florida Turnpike.
