Fallen Officers Remembered

Miami-Dade Police remembered two officers who gave their lives while serving the community. On Monday, the department dedicated its warrants bureau prisoner processing area to the memories of Amanda Haworth and Roger Castillo. It was the three-year memorial of when they were shot to death while serving a warrant. The department also created a”Detective of the Year” award to be given every January.
