The U.S. Coast Guard and the Bahamian military continued the search for a vessel with at least eight passengers on board that never made it to its destination in Florida.

The 29-foot Mako Cuddy Cabin vessel departed Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Monday with at least 8-10 passengers on board, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force said in a statement Thursday. The vessel was last seen in Bimini on Tuesday and was supposed to arrive in Lake Worth, Florida.

Authorities are conducting aerial and maritime searches along coast lines, ocean waters, cays and reefs.
