Woman Who Lied About Identity Stole $50K From Hollywood Condo Association: Police

NBC 6’s Katie Johnson speaks to a Hollywood community after a woman who faked her identity stole $50,000 from a condo association.

Hollywood police are looking for a woman who lied about her identity and stole approximately $50,000 from a condominium association for which she served as treasurer.

A woman who went by the alias Tracy Pierson worked for the Crystal Court Manor on North 12th Court from March to December 2018, the Hollywood Police Department said.

Back in November, another association member reviewed the bank statements and noticed Pierson had been using the association's bank card to make ATM transactions, retail and gas purchases, and other unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $50,000, police said.

Detectives are looking to figure out Pierson's true identity. Anyone with information should call Hollywood police at 954-764-4357 or Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
