North Miami Beach Police are asking for the public's help in finding a puppy that was stolen from his owner's home.
The puppy, a 6-month-old pure bred male Dachshund named Rocco, was stolen from the home of David Yadgaroff, police said Thursday.
Yadgaroff, who filed a report on Sept. 3, said he had acquaintances in his home and he was distracted when the puppy was stolen.
Investigators said they're unsure if it may be a puppy mill theft situation, police said.
Anyone with information about the puppy is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
