An elderly man was airlifted to the hospital after he was shot while sitting on his porch in Miami Gardens Friday afternoon, police said.
The shooting happened in the 18600 block of Northwest 37th Avenue.
Police said a verbal dispute was happening nearby when one person fired a weapon, hitting the man twice in the back.
The man was airlifted to Aventura Hospital where he was in critical but stable condition. His name wasn't released.
The shooting remains under investigation.
