Father, Son Accused of Dealing Drugs

An alleged father and son drug dealing team was arrested after an undercover investigation lead officials to a house in Miami full of drugs and weapons, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Miami-Dade Police Gang Unit detectives arrested Nelson Valeriano Rodriguez, 59, and Nelson Angel Rodriguez, 33, after receiving anonymous tips and observing the duo conducting drug transactions at a home located at 761 N.W. 132 Place.

According to police, the detectives seized a large variety of drugs including: cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, hashish, and mushrooms.

They also seized nine handguns, 14 rifles (23 weapons in total), and U.S. currency.

Nelson Valeriano Rodriguez was charged with armed trafficking of cocaine and Nelson Angel Rodriguez was charged with selling marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of MDMA, and possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony.
