A 50-year-old former teacher has pleaded guilty to distributing a video of a child being sexually abused.
The Florida Times-Union reports Christopher Shawn Potter faces five to 20 years in federal prison when he is sentenced. He also could face a life term of supervised release.
Prosecutors say Potter's username was "Catsfan1987" when he responded to an online notice posted by an undercover Orange Park police officer posing as a 14-year-old child.
Court documents say Potter asked for photos and discussed meeting for sex. The documents say Potter sent the officer a video depicting a young child being sexually abused.
Investigators found 21 child porn videos on Potter's phone while executing a search warrant on Sept. 20.
He taught at Clay High School and Orange Park High School.
