Multiple People Arrested in Alleged Stolen Car Early Friday in Hialeah

NBC 6’s Darryl Forges was first on the scene and has the latest updates from the overnight incident.

Five people were taken into custody early Friday morning after they were found in what police are saying was a stolen car in Hialeah.

Officers responded to the scene at Palm Avenue and East 46th Street shortly before 3:30 a.m. Two of those arrested were juviniles - including one with an open warrent in Broward County.

Three others, 30-year-old Alejandro Moncada along with 18-year-olds Luis Perez and Amanda Sherman, were arrested and charged with resisting arrest while Sherman was also charged with grand theft of a vehicle.

More details have not been released as the investigation continues.
