Wet, Windy Weather Arrives in South Florida With Latest Cold Front

NBCUniversal, Inc.

Parts of South Florida will need that umbrella for most of Friday with the arrival of the latest cold front - and for the weekend, sweater weather is in the forecast.

The front arrived overnight Thursday and produced storms early Friday morning ahead of a weekend cool down.

The showers and storms were being pushed out late Friday morning thanks to the cold front.

The front will clear out and South Florida, with the exception of Homestead and the Florida Keys, should see clear, sunny skies Friday afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny. Saturday will be cooler with crisp lows in the 50s and highs only in the mid 70s. Warmer air returns on Sunday and sticks around all next week as the humidity surges in again as well.
