Gas Prices See Slight Increase in South Florida Since Start of 2018

If you’ve noticed a slight increase in the amount of money it’s taking to fill up at the gas pumps, you are not alone.

Gas prices have seen an increase since the start of the year, with the national average at $2.53 a gallon entering this week. In South Florida, the average price has risen to $2.60 a gallon.

If you’re looking to save a couple pennies, the lowest cost in Miami-Dade County is at the Valero gas station on Flagler Street and 10th Avenue at $2.55. In Broward County, your best deal is at the Westar gas station off West Broward Boulevard and 7th Avenue at $2.49.
