Drivers are being told to avoid Collins Ave. between 167th and 172nd Streets as crews continue to work on a damaged pipe.
Drivers traveling on Sunny Isles Beach will want to avoid a five block section of Collins Avenue as crews continue to stop a natural gas leak.
Crews continue working to fix the damaged pipe causing that leak, forcing a section of the road between 167th and 172nd Streets to be closed in both directions.
All motorists are being urged to find a different route as heavy delays are expected. Officials have not said when they expect the pipe to be fixed.
