Man, 66, Found Shot in Hollywood

Two people have been arrested on a charge of attempted murder after a 66-year-old man was seriously injured after he was shot.

Hollywood Police arrested Kenrick Long, 24, and Joseph Johnson, 30, on charges of robbery with a firearm and attempted felony murder for the shooting that took place on the 5900 block of Funston Street in Hollywood.

The shooting took place in a car brokerage business in an office building. Witnesses said the shooter followed Victor Herrera inside, shot him, and then drove off. The suspect’s vehicle was found and stopped in a different city.

“Like everything else in life, it’s where you are at the right time or the wrong time, what can I tell you,” said George Friedman who works in an office four doors down from the shooting scene.

Hollywood Police said Herrera remains in the hospital in serious condition.
