A man is recovering in the hospital after they were shot Sunday afternoon in Lauderhill, police said.

Once officers were at the scene, they saw the victim in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was then taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.

NBC6 cameras captured multiple evidence markers at the scene.

Police had the parking lot roped off for several hours as investigators searched for clues.

A description of the possible suspect has not been released.
