The Orange County Sheriff's Office says a man is suffering from paralysis after jumping from a third-floor balcony into a tree.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the 20-year-old man attempted the jump early Sunday morning at The Edge apartments.
Deputies say they don't think it was a suicide attempt, but they released few details.
The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was treated for paralysis from the waist down.
