Miami-Dade police were examining bullet holes outside the house in the 4100 block of Northwest 22nd Court, but would not release any details.

Barbara Graham says she actually heard gunfire a few blocks from her son's home before 6 a.m. and later learned her son, Corey Graham, had been killed.

"I didn't know it was Corey, I didn't know it was my kid," she said.

Corey was the youngest of her four children, Graham said.

"He would give you the shirt off his back," said Graham, through tears. "They shot him down like he was nothing."

Relatives say Graham's girlfriend was also injured and hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital.  She is in stable condition. They said the two were returning from a Super Bowl party.

Barbara Graham said Corey has a six-month-old son.

"Yeah. I worry about Corey, cause he like to hang out. He like to hang out," said Barbara Graham.
